Maxhaust Presents: Electrifying Sound for the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo
Maxhaust, the specialist in automotive acoustics, has developed a specially engineered sound for Opel electric vehicles – making its debut in the spectacular Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo. The essence of electric driving, already audible in the virtual racing experience of Gran Turismo 7, can now be experienced physically in the show car.

The new sound is a tailor-made composition for Opel EVs, designed to deliver an emotional performance that goes beyond the road. It blends futuristic electric soundscapes with a distinctive blow-off effect that creates a subtle yet tangible pressure release when lifting off the throttle – an elegant and emotional experience for the electric era.
From Concept to Production?
This sound is not only an acoustic statement for the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo but also continues the acoustic DNA of Opel’s electric GSE rally vehicles. The Mokka GSe Rally already featured a “dedicated sound system” designed to enhance perception and performance in a radical rally context. Maxhaust now extends this heritage into a high-performance sub-brand.
Looking ahead, this innovative sound may be transferred from the concept study into future production models – ideal for a new generation of Opel GSE electric vehicles that inspire both visually and acoustically.
The Show Car: Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo
The Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo is an impressive concept car featuring the following key figures:
- Two electric motors, each delivering 350 kW (476 hp), for a combined system output of 588 kW (800 hp) and 800 Nm of torque.
- Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2 seconds, with a top speed of 320 km/h.
- Boost function provides an extra 80 hp for 4 seconds, recharging in just 80 seconds.
- Despite an 82 kWh battery, weight is kept at just 1,170 kg thanks to lightweight engineering.
- Premiere at IAA Mobility 2025 (September 8–14, 2025) and available virtually in Gran Turismo 7 starting this fall.
